I’m proud of myself today to get couple campaigns off the ground on some new advertising space. I started couple of campaigns back on Facebook again. Then I also tested out on BuySellAds.com with an offer but they rejected the offer. So I had to reupload a new creative and waiting for them to approved again. The cool things about advertising on BuySellAds.com is that you can see the sites that you select on so you can see what the site is about. You can get an idea for who the readers are and what other advertisers are advertising on that website. The downside is that you have to pay monthly so if that offer sucks, you can’t stop the campaign but you can try a new creative. So its a total loss. The part that I was proud of myself was at the point that they asked for my credit card, I was lazy to get my credit card. I could’ve just let it go and just told my head “o i can wait for another time” but instead I pushed myself forward. I know that I always talk myself out of doing something because I didn’t want to waste $70 to see if this is going to work or not. But the funny thing is how would I know if I didn’t test it out. I can’t keep waiting to read about other people’s success stories and do nothing about it. I have to test it out and be a success story. I am looking forward to the day that I can write a great success story to inspire other affiliate marketers.

The other place I tried today was MySpace ads. I got a $75 coupon from Shoemoney so I thought I would give MySpace traffic a shot. Nothing to lose so I wanted to test new traffic source and not stick to just Adwords. My ad was disapproved because the destination URL did not match the landing page URL. The reason is that I put in my tracking URL so I had to email them to ask how I would work around this.

I will keep you posted on the outcome in the next couple of days. Weekend is always slow.
