I haven’t updated for awhile since I was focusing on learning and DOING stuff for PPCCoach.com (which I will update on my progress on another post). But I still had time to enter into every contest there was to win a free pass to ASE!

And the persistence paid off. Last week I won one free Gold pass from JohnChow.com. I was pretty stoked since I’ve never won anything on the internet before no matter how many email/zip submits I’ve entered . Then couple of days later, Heather from boatinginbeautifulbritishcolumbia.com drew my name out for TWO Gold pass. I couldn’t believe it but I had to email her that I already won one.

Then I attended the Meetup202 in Seattle yesterday, and James Seligman tells me that I won another pass from CPAAffiliates.com. I had to turn that down as well.

Wow! I guess it must be a sign that I’m suppose to be there! Now I just have to find cheap tickets there because its currently $600 to fly from Seattle to NYC. And find couple hundred people to share a room with me!!! As you can tell, I’m not a super affiliate……..YET!

I’ve been trying to enter as many contest as I can to win a free trip to Affiliate Summit East in New York City in August. My main reason for wanting to go is to meet some super affiliates and learn new strategies and techniques. I’m sure it will be overwhelming as this is one of the popular affiliate marketing events. I was just at the Affiliate Convention in Denver and that had about 1,000 people.

Seems a lot of people who are holding such contest is doing it asking to be tweeted. So that’s not very hard to do. I will keep track of the places that I have entered so that you can enter as well and for me to keep track of it.

I joined www.PPC-Coach.com at the beginning of July. There is a ton of information to go over…kinda overwhelming. One of the problem I have is staying focus. I tend to jump from one idea to another because when you read one post, another idea pops in your head. I have to say that so far I find this forum to be very beneficial. Since this is a paying forum, you don’t have a lot of BS from the members. They all have money laying on the line and no one has time to BS. They’re here to make money so they give tips and are very helpful. Included in your monthly memberships are tools like creating Adwords campaigns with ease, be able to create campaign for Adwords, MSN and YSM all at once and auto landing site generator.

I’m currently trying to work on some poll campaigns right now. I’ve been hearing a lot negative things about it, ie. google coming down on these type of campaigns. But I’m going to still do it to learn more about Google Adwords. Hopefully from that, I can start doing other campaigns using different techniques. I will keep you posted on what works and what doesn’t.
